Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

I was on unemployment for 1 1/2 years finally found a job worked the job for 1 month and terminated because of a background check. I was not on the job long enough to even request unemployment. I have a hearing coming up, can I still collect unemployment prior to this job? Even before being terminated I was not on the job long to receive it.

No, I don't see how (if your prior eligibilty for UE benefits has run out).
