unfair termination

If I've been hired as casual employee with the stipulation that after 1000 hrs I'll be made fulltime w/ benefits. Is it lawful to terminate my employment after I reach 1000hrs instead of making me fulltime?

Yes, quite lawful unless you're working under a contract which would prohibit this kind of action

on the part of your employer.
