Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

Unjust termination according to policy handbook.

I was recently terminated from my job. I was treated unethically as well as dishonestly. While I do not believe this entitle's me to anything according to the law I do have a question regarding the employee handbook. The policy in the handbook says that the employee should be given 3 written notices before termination. I never recieved any such notice. I also have not recieved an official statement of termination or the last pay check I am owed. Their policy also states that an employee should recieve 1 weeks pay after termination, which I have not recieved. Does this handbook policy entitle me to a case for wrongful termination? Please respond as soon as possible. Thank you for your time.

Employee handbooks can be helpful in situations like yours. Most attorneys who practice

employment law (including this office) will provide a free consultation to fully evaluate any

potential cause of action you may have. I strongly suggest you take this course of action.
