Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

unpaid payment

I'm an independt contractor who worked for a CA based language compnay that hasn't paid me $1400. I live in VA. What should I do? Their response is no response at all.

Next time you're out in the "land of fruits and nuts" within the next year or so,, sue the bastards for your damages in the small claims court wherein resides their headquarters or main place of business.

However, make sure that you don't wait too long and allow the SOL(statute of limitations)to run on your claim.
