vesting issue in a not profit organization

I am being laid off because of budget issues from a non profit organization. I would have been fully vested in 7/07 and eligible for $10,000. Do I have any rights to the money since I won't complete the 5 years of employment?

No, I would say you don't unless you have a contract which suggests otherwise.
