Wages among Employees

If two employees have the same credentials, is it legal for the employee who has worked at the job longer to be paid less. The employee who is paid less is male and the one who is paid more is female.

Perfectly legal, unless the employee who is paid less has a contract of employment which indicates that under these particular circumstances that he should be paid more in compensation than what he's actually receiving.
