Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

waittressing - tips and wages

i work at a small family restaurant that also does catering jobs, my question is can my employer take money out of my paycheck without my consent for a broken glass and plate? also is it legal for my employer to keep half of my tip from a catering job? also, i wanted to know if i am working with another waittress at the restaurant and we are rotating tables is it legal for my employer to give any reservations and tables over ten to the other waittress regardless if it is my turn in the rotation? thank you for your help!
