Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

I work as a car salesman in the state of Virginia and I'm working on average over 50 hours a week. I'm paid a weekly draw check that comes out of any commission that I make, but the draw checks are only including 40 hours that I work. Me and a few of my fellow co-workers are trying to find out if we should be getting paid for the hours over 40.

No, I don't believe so, and probably the dealership doesn't even have to

pay you for the 40 hours (assuming that you're working on a pure commission basis)unless required by a contract between the salesmen and the dealership.
