Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

I work in an extremely stifled environment. Its an extremely controlled environment where we are answerable even if we spend an extra second more at lunch. Spend more than 5 minutes on the telephone.On the other hand my boss has a friend who is not a member of our team, not one of our clients and he has a free pass to come and go and spend as much time talking to all our co workers without being answerable to any one. Is there anyway that I can stop him from coming to my cubicle and talking to me. Simply telling my boss wont help I am sure there is something more that I can do.
