Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

I work at a Franchised Hotel and our owner also owns some restaurants, well they are telling us that we are required to reccomend the restaurants that they own, I was caught reccomeding another restaurant that they do not own, and I was written up for it, The write up i signed stated that the next time I was caught reccomending a resturaunt that they do no own I will be suspended for 3 days, is this legal?

There could possibly be implicated in this restriction a violation of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution but would you really want to litigate it, perhaps, all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court?
