Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia
I work for a small retail company with less than 15 employees. My employer will not let me have a lunch break and I work 8 to 9 hours a day. I have Type 1 diabetes, can I insist on a lunch break without being fired? My employer says they are not required to provide lunch breaks.

Your employer appears to have stated the law concerning employee
breaks quite correctly in the employment at will jurisdiction known as the Commonwealth of Virginia.
