Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

I work in VA, but signed a non-compete agreement that is based on TN law. Is it legal to force TN law on me if I have never worked in TN?

Would probably seem to depend upon whether the Tennessee version

of the non-comptete agreement closely comports with what Virginia

law requires for such agreements or not. But, if the latter is the case,

it would likely be found to be unenforceable against you (in my opinion).
