Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

I worked as an administrator of medium size assisted living for 9 years, everyone loves me specially families bec of my hard work, I quit bec of my new boss made my work environment unbearable. I doubled their profit during myeadership. Some of my clients followed me and moved to the new facility that I worked for, I received a letter fr their lawyer accusing me of soliciting fr their clients and encouraging their clients clients to leave them, they ask me to stop and will follow legal action.
