Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia
I worked for a incorporated business for 5 years and i worked in the office doing payroll and taxes. I noticed due to the tough times that his account would be so low that i would not be able to pay myself and I would hold off until he got money in the account to write my check. Well being nice has not worked out for me because he started to get out of work and I never got payed. I have been owed almost a thousand dollars since March and I gave him the benefit of the doubt by trying to sort it out between us. I have been pushed aside for several months and he has disconnected his cell phone, home phone, and I stopped by his office and left a note for him to call me and I have been given the cold shoulder. I don't know how to go about getting my money from him and need some advice.
