Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia
I worked for a schoo for 5 yrs this year contract with them they have cut my hours. in the contract they promissed me 7 hours a day . since I started this school year they have been paying me only for six hours. when I asked for a short break the employer promissed me a 15 minutes and it's unpaid. the employer promissed to fix the mistake so many times , but didn't . now after two months the employer compensate me for the hours I have been working claiming that I had to take a lunch break. the contract states that I have to work seven hours with no break. what should I do . is this a case ? what should I do to win it if so. ?
