Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

possible workers comp

i have been having neck problems for about 4 years. i went to dr and told them that i did not think it was work related. but after looking over drs reports lo and behold the problem did begin about the time i started this job. i guess i spoke to soon about not being job related but it actually probably is. is it to late to try and claim workers comp on this problem now that i have said that i dont think it was? i work for the state of va.

Re: possible workers comp

You have merely to file your workman's compensation claim based upon an alleged chronic job related injury and then you'll find out?

What you may think regarding the source of this problem is far less important than what a doctor thinks who has had the opportunity to examine and evaluate this injury.
