Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

Written Employment Offer

I recieved a written employment offer from a company, I accepted the offer and gave my current employer my notice, 3 days later I was informed that we could not proceed and I would not be hired. Is this written offer a binding contract? What options do I have if any?

Re: Written Employment Offer

Whether the company's written offer and your acceptance(and subsequent detrimental reliance), and the company's later withdrawal of the offer--constitute an action for breach of contract--or

other viable action-could only be determined by an attorney knowledgeable in contract as well as labor and employment law issues after having reviewed all of the relevant materials and having listened to your detailed exposition of the facts.
