Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

Wrongful Termination

I was recently fired from a Trillion Dollar Company for sexual harassment, although I harassed no won and had no contact with this person for approxamatly a month. Due to the fact a fellow associate had had a conversation too me about an alleged allegation I was deemed an active participant. The people that overheard the converastion can attest that I had no active part in the conversation nor belive I did anything wrong. Do i have any recourse for wrongful termination, slander or anything else ?

Re: Wrongful Termination

A right to sue for wrongful termination doesn't exist in Virginia (except in very limited circumstances involving what's called the Bowman public policy exception), which would not be applicable to your case.
