Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

Wrongfully terminated & fighting it. Have documentation supporting my case in the form of company emails sent to me while I was working for them. I forwarded these to my home. (I also made printed copies at home.) Are these emails okay to use to support my case or are they considered "company property"? If so, I have no written proof to support my case as a copy of my personnel file was not made available to me.

In Virginia, an employee can be fired for almost any reason that doesn't

violate one or more of the protected categories of federal anti-discrimination

law. (This assumes that the employee is not working under the

protection of a contract or collective bargaining type of agreement.)

And, if you're the typical Virginia employee who lacks the protection

of a contract, then you're likely wasting your time in contesting the matter.
