Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

I have a 25 yr old daughter that has not contributed rent or any other support. I recently had a 3 day emergency no contact order and also filed assault charges on her. She is now in NC and thinks she can just move right back in upon her return and I didn't file for the 14 day extension on the no contact. Do I have to go through the process of evicting her in the courts?

If the three day no contact order has now expired with no substitute nor extension order to replace it and your daughter has been living at your residence for some indeterminate period, then, yes, you most likely will have to initiate formal eviction procedures to legally rid yourself of her apparently unwholesome presence from your home (my opinion).
