Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
Hello, We are a christian bookstore. The landlord moved a certified witch next store to me 6 months ago. Since then, my sells have gone down considerily. I respectfully brought this to the landlords attention that customers informed me that they will not shop with me if the witch remains next door. Results: Loss sales. They left a huge hole in my ceiling from damage ceiling tiles.
Secondly,
I am in a three year commercial lease in Hilton, built in 1918. This pass rain storm left me with flooded floors due to severely leaky ceilings (roof). I have ten pictures of damage. The landlord is concelling the lease because I complained that the leak ruined some inventory. He has given me 10 days to move out. Is this legal or does he need a court order? Can an attorney help me?

Rather than have a witch trial, you should see an attorney ASAP. You may have some valid claims against this landlord. The attorney will need to see your lease and review the law with you. Good luck.
