Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
collecting judgment
I was self represented, and was awarded judgment on a tenant/landlord case that was tried in general district court. I contacted the landlord 10 days post trial as instructed, and was told ''Do what ever you have to, because I'm not going to pay you'' My question is, what is the easiest and quickest way to collect. Thank you so much for your assistance in this matter.

Re: collecting judgment
Probably a levy against this judgment debtor's bank account(s)which is not constrained by the 25% limitation which is applicable to wage garnishments. (Yes, that means that you can seize the whole "enchilada" in the account up to the amount of your judgment + applicable interest.)
