Co-Signer
I co-signed a lease on an apartment for a family member. They got evicted. I've already paid the back rent. Now they want me to pay for damages. Am I liable for this also. They are asking for a huge sum.

A co-signer is generally obligated for all the terms of the lease. If the damage claim is not warranted, you may want to contest it or contact an attorney.
