Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
I am disabled and was in the hospital and maintenance went into my apt without notifying me. There was no emergency called in from neighbors. No maintenance work order was left in my apt as to why they were in there. When I got out of the hospital i was approached by the maint supervisor asking why my wall was so messed up. I explained to him I am partially paralyzed and use the wall for support to go up and down stairs. Is this legal for them to enter without notifying me?

Would seem to depend upon what your lease may have to say
about this particular issue (if anything) and the relevant facts
which motivated the apartment maintenance to enter your
unit under the circumstances described.
