early termination of lease

I was wondering what the virginia state law said about an early termination of a lease, and how much the landord can charge me in order to terminate the lease?

Re: early termination of lease

Unless you can persuade the landlord to allow for the early termination of your lease without penalty, the landlord can legally require that you pay the balance due under the lease, meaning the full amount for each and every month owed until the end of the lease.
