ending a lease?

Hi, Im currently in an apartment where the neighbors are incredibly inconsiderate. They leave trash in the hallways, which creates a pest problem, theyve broken fire alarms,and they play loud music all of the time. The rental company knows about these problems but say they cannot do anything about it. I also have police reports for times that i have had to call the police and a letter written from my roommate to the rental company about the noise problem. Is this a valid reason to get out of a lease? and/or Whats the worst that could happen if we just left?

No, incredibly inconsiderate neighbors

doing what you've described, would not in my opinion suffice to establish proof of what the law calls a constructive eviction which would be necessary to allow you to prematurely and unilaterally terminate your lease without penalty.

And, furthermore, if you decided to just up and leave without the landlord's permission, you could expect to be served with a warrant in debt for the balance of what's owed under the lease.
