filthy roommate; break lease or get him out?
I currently live in an apartment complex that caters to college students. In my apartment, there are three different rooms that are leased individually, but we all have a shared common area (kitchen and living room). I have lived here for over a year and have gotten along with all of my roommates, but I now have a roommate who is dirty and noisy, and, because of this, we don't get along. I would either like to force him out (preferably) or break my lease and leave myself. I've spoken to the property manager about the situation and he says that neither of these are options for me. Do I have any legal recourses in this situation, or do I just have to live out my lease?
