Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

My friend came to live with me yet had no rent. I let her stay for a while and kept asking for rent which she never had. She did not help with bills, ate all our food, stole money and things, and made the whole house stressful. She promised to pay but never did. She left one day but some of her things here. She was never on a lease and did not get mail here. She does owe me 1000's in borrowed cash over the last few months. When she left she took money, and personal poropry of mine. Now she wants to come get ther rest of her things 2 weeks after she left. What legally can I do to get my things and money back. Is she legally allowed to come get her things and if so how does she prove whats hers and whats not?
