Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

Home rental

if a landlord has you sign a lease, take your down payment, then give you a receipt , hand over the keys and let you move in. Does he have the right to tell you 3 days later to move and give you 4 days to move out? should he be responsible for cost incurred to move?
