Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

Landlord Abuse

The following is a quote from an email from my landlord:

I do not permit any religion or political activities in my house. If i notice any other surprises the house locks will change at your expense immediately.

I was just having people over for a friendly get-together and ended up cancelling it. At times of disagreement, my landlord has continuously, stated ''Get out of my House!'' and has more than once mentioned that he'll put me out on the streets. He has also utilized terms such as 'nigger' and has stated that he dispises 'Jews'. Being from Central Asian decent, I did not appreciate these type of statements. It's been 2 weeks since I've broken my lease and the more I reflect on what had happened, the more I believe that this was not a good man and I don't want him to continue abusing people who rent a room in the house with him. Is there anything I can do to prevent him from doing this to others? Can I sue him based on the limitations he placed on my 5th amendment rights and racist statements that he has made?

Re: Landlord Abuse

No, assuming you and the landlord were sharing his private home under terms of a rental agreement or lease with you as lessee and the landlord as lessor.
