Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
Do you need Landlord approval of subtenant?
Do you need the landlord's approval of the subtenant, if in fact, nowhere in the lease agreement does it state that you cannot sublease?

Re: Do you need Landlord approval of subtenant?
As a practical matter you will want to obtain
the landlord's approval for any sublease arrangement(irrespective of what the lease says or doesn't say), and failure to do so can create
vexing problems for all parties concerned.
