Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

landlord

My family and I live in the State of Virginia and rent a house. We did not sign lease or contract. My question is can my landlord come on the property without being invited or giving a notice, She never comes in the house but is always in the yard doing things. She even comes on the porch and sweeps. We keep the property spotless and well groomed on the outside and are never late with the rent but she is always outside in the yard bend over with her pants down below her buttocks. This is especially embarrassing when entertaining friends as I am Regional Manager with a large company and have high profile friends. I have been different advise on how to handle this but want to make sure I am legally right before I act.

Re: landlord

If you did not sign a lease or contract to rent the property (and apparently do not even have an oral agreement), then there is absolutely nothing (as far as I know) to prevent the landlord from engaging in the kinds of activities on her property which you've described.
