Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

My landlord made a very Unwelcomed comment to me and him being my secret admirer. Before he could say anything else I told him I caught his drift and that was better left not said. A few days later my husband had to use my phone and text him about inspecting my truck. He then said I'll behave so my husband and why would he behave and he sent a lot of things like how sexy I am and how he's though about me for a long time, etc. he did not realize it was my husband he was talking to. My husband did confront him about this which he repeatedly apologized. I sent him a text asking why he said that after I specifically told him not to and he said idk stupid on my part. The problem now is that we are both very uncomfortable in our home especially since his garage is not even 20ft from my house where he is everyday all day. Not to mention the emotional problems it has caused for us both but especially myself as I was sexually abused my entire childhood so it has brought up a lot of thing for me. He has rubbed my shoulders twice as I was leaving from paying rent that made me very uncomfortable and I had to pull away and has ignitiated hugs that were uncomfortable as well. The entire time I deal with him it puts me in the mindset of my childhood. We can not afford to move while still paying rent. What can I do? Is there legal punishment that I can file against him for this?

"Legal punishment", you ask? No, not on these facts (in my opinion) at

least that would be sufficiently sustainable that would allow you

to recover any significant damages from this miscreant landlord for

his misbehaviour as described.
