Landlord showing appt

my landlord wants me to take my dog and leave the property with my wife while she shows the house and i don't want people i don't know in the house with my stuff and my wife is unable to watch the place or handle the dog ? it sayes we can't unreasonably say no to her request. how does this work?

As long as your wife or some othe person you designate is allowed to remain in the house while the landlord is showing the property, her request is quite likely to be considered reasonable (in my opinion).
