My landlord never signed the lease

We are trying to get out of our lease because my fiance was recalled into the military and because we are not married she's trying to make me my half of the rent because I'm not in the military can she do that if she never signed the lease

A landlord is not required to sign a lease for it to be valid and enforceable.
