Getting out of lease
Can I compensate my loss & get out of lease from a leased property that owner didn't have up to codes, & I ran out of money to fund my business from delays on her part?? Open closed!!! Help

Not merely having the commercial property in full compliance with all required state, county, or municipal codes, would not likely provide the legal excuse necessary to permit you to abandon your lease with impunity.
No, something much more drastic in terms of the derogation of your right to the quiet enjoyment of your leased property in furtherance of your business purposes would likely be required in order to allow for the kind of lease termination which you've proposed.
