No Lease at all
My daughter and I rent rooms from a lady in fredericksburg virigina neither of us have a lease. This lady and my daughter got into an arguement at work they both work and the same place, and now she has given my daughter 30 days notice not filed jus something she typed on her computer is this legal?

Sure, since all that your daughter apparently has in terms of a lease is a month to month oral agreement with the landlord, which can normally be terminated by either party with no more than 30 days advance notice to the other.
