how to get out of lease

I rented an apartment with my boyfriend. He has decided that he no longer wants to be in a relationship, but our lease isn't up until April, 2008. What are my options? I don't want to stay there with him if he doesn't want to be in a relationship.

Both you and he are each equally obligated on the lease until it expires in April 2008.(If the lease allows for subletting, either you or he could find a roommate to substitute for you.)
