Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

is my lease valid??

I've been renting my townhome for 5 months, & I've just recently discovered that my ''Landlord'' does not actually own the property that I live in. His wife does, & she is the only name on the property deed. My lease was not signed by the owner, it was signed by her spouse. Does this mean that my lease is not valid?
