Getting out
Is it possible to legally get off of a lease before you time is up if there are two persons on the lease and the other is staying? I am in an abusive relationship and want to get out of it but he will not leave and I am afraid of ruining my chances with another complex.

You can legally get out of your lease before your lease is up if your landlord will allow it.
Otherwise, you're pretty much stuck until it's up.
