Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
live in an apartment complex they charge to cancel lease one month rent...they have just started to allow pets...my neighbors dogs bark constantly i have complained several times and nothing has happened..do i have a right to terminate my lease with no charge..thanks

Well, you could certainly make that request to the management with the excuse that when you initially moved into
this apartment complex you had no idea that you were "signing up for barking dogs", so to speak, and therefore should be allowed to move out without having to pay the one month rent penalty.
