Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
I live in the state of Virginia. I currently rent a federal funded, low income(not section 8) apartments. The property manager says I'm not allowed to babysit my nieces and nephew or run a business from apartment. I have read and reread the lease and no where does it say anything like that. First of all, it's not a business. Second of all I don't get paid. It's family I do it for free. Can she legally tell me I can have my family over whenever I want?

No, most probably not (unless there are, perhaps, some other issues/facts involved
which you haven't mentioned and which may have bearing on this matter).
