Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
I am married (10 years) to a landlord (of one home total) in Virginia. We rented our home in September to a tenant who now is 3 months behind. Court date is set for eviction. My husband is out of the country (non-miliatry) and I am not on the mortgage/deed. What do I need to do to represent my home in court?

Have your landlord husband execute a limited POA(Power of Attorney) form to
give you the authority to act in his stead in the pending court action.
