Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
I just moved out of my apartment on September 28th and my 759.00 allotment does not end until the 15th of Oct. That means that I paid for rent of an apt that I'm not living in. So I called the renting office and they said that it will take 45days and they will send it with my security deposit. First off that is not their money to hold from me. Is this legal?
