Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
I moved out of a house that I rented and I feel that the property management company unfairly kept a huge piece of my deposit for damages that I feel are normal wear and tear. I don't have enough proof to sue but I want to put a posting on craigslist or anywhere else I can find and let people know not to rent through these people. Is this legal or can I be sued for slander/libel etc.?

Not a good idea (in my opinion) as you might find yourself the subject of a defamation suit.
Better to sue in small claims court and, perhaps, get a settlement before the matter comes to trial.
