Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
I owned a house and the tenants want an early termination of the lease agreement. They are requesting the entire security deposit returned, to have it returned prior to their departure and I am assuming as a favor they are withholding that they claim there is mold in the property even though they claim the results from a health department inspection will not be back for 8 weeks to 4 months. What should I do?

Without knowing whether there is a verifiable claim for mold or other claims from which these
tenants have incurred provable damages, I couldn't offer an opinion.
