pest problem
what are my options if i have a pest problem in my apartmen and the landlord wont do anything about it?

You might start with a call to your County/City Health Department. Depending on how bad the situation, you might have a "constructive eviction " claim, meaning you were effectively forced out by the landlord's action-or inaction. The facts and the lease should be reviewed by an attorney before taking that step.
