Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

Property

My boyfriend and I broke up in January (6th). I asked him to come and get his stuff, and call his parents house and informed them that he needed to get his things. He came buy and picked some of them up but left big things like a tv. He owns a truck and could transport it away. Finally Feb. 15 I changed the locks. Now at the End of April when I am getting ready to move he wants his belongings back after he left them for four months without paying rent. Do I have to return it to him?

Yes, return them to their rightful owner and be done with it.
