Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

Property Manager gone looney tunes...

I lived at a complex for 12 months. During my stay I made 15-20 complaints to codes and compliance, 17 of which were signed off as code violations. Structual damage, electrical problems, etc. etc. I finally moved after a fire went of in the bldg and fire alarms didnt go off, bc owners had them set to silent. (Documented thru fire Dept) Even after this nothing was fixed so I moved at end of my lease. The complex is suing ME for damages, can I countersue them, and who do I sue, the manager or owners?

Damages for what? Which you had better fully understand before you contemplate a countersuit.

I would suggest that you arrange for a consultation with an attornwey who should have an opportunity to review the pertinent documents associated with this matter and who then should be able to further advise you, accordingly.
