Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
I rent and apartment with my mother,brother and his wife. She moved out 1 month ago without notice. She is still on the lease. How can we get her to pay for past due rent on her part and the remaining 5 months on the lease.

Most likely, sue her in small claims court AFTER you have
in fact paid in her behalf all amounts that you are seeking to
collect from her due under this lease.
